ABOUT ROAD TO 326
Road to 326 is an independently maintained UK polling, election-model and civic-information project. It is not a pollster, campaign, official authority or voting-advice service.
Attributed national voting-intention polls, a transparent seven-poll average, a deliberately simple seat scenario, by-election results and clearly labelled editorial tools.
We do not claim to predict an election with certainty, represent any political organisation, measure every local factor or tell anyone how to vote.
Dates, source links, calculation notes and limitations are published beside the relevant material. Material revisions receive a new published timestamp.
PURPOSE
Election coverage often turns small polling movements into definitive stories. Road to 326 instead shows the underlying records, the averaging rule and the distance between a modelled seat total and the 326 seats usually associated with a House of Commons majority.
The forecast is a scenario derived from current polling, not a probability and not a promise about the next general election.
INDEPENDENCE
Party order, colours and names identify public political organisations. They do not indicate endorsement. Road to 326 does not offer paid placement in its polling average, Compass results, news classifications or forecast presentation.
CORRECTIONS
When a source revises a figure or a material calculation error is identified, the relevant data and page should be corrected promptly. Source records remain linked wherever possible, and the site-wide publication timestamp shows when the deployed edition changed.
For the full rules, see the methodology and source register and editorial standards.
PRIVACY
The site has no accounts, comments, mailing list, payments or political advertising. Compass answers stay within the open browser tab and are not submitted to Road to 326. Basic audience measurement is cookieless; enhanced interaction analytics and masked session replays remain off unless a visitor consents.
